terms of service for the poppang content monitor

last updated 29 august 2026

what this is

The poppang content monitor is a private, single-user web application built and operated by the owner of poppang.dev for their own use. It displays statistics and comments from the operator's own social media accounts on one page.

It is not a commercial product. It has no sign-up, no other users, no paid tier, and is not made available to the public.

access

Access is restricted to the operator by a password gate. No account creation is offered and no other person is authorised to use the application.

platform terms

The application connects to third-party platform APIs. Use of those APIs is subject to each platform's own developer terms and policies, which the operator agrees to and follows, including restrictions on how platform data may be stored, displayed, and retained.

The application requests read-only scopes. It does not post, publish, comment, reply, follow, like, message, or modify anything on any connected platform, and it does not perform any automated action on a platform on behalf of any user.

data

Handling of data accessed through connected platforms is described in the privacy policy. In summary: only the operator's own account data is accessed, nothing is sold or shared, and Pinterest data is fetched live rather than stored.

no warranty

The application is provided as-is, for personal use, with no warranty of any kind. Figures shown are supplied by third-party APIs and may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. Nothing displayed should be treated as authoritative; each platform's own dashboard is the source of record.

availability

The application may be changed, paused, or shut down at any time without notice. Platform integrations may stop working if a platform changes or withdraws API access.

changes to these terms

If these terms change, the date at the top of the page is updated.
